Meet Gemstone founder Jessica Lewallen AIA

Jessica is a licensed architect and multidisciplinary designer in Northwest Arkansas with over 20 years of experience. She has worked on a wide variety of design projects across the US in a variety of contexts: from master planning to small scale building design and interiors…even logo design, personal styling, and event planning.

She has always found the collaboration between owner and designer to be the most rewarding part of the process.  Working with the stakeholders of the project to articulate the needs, desires, and hopes for the project, and creating the best possible version that fulfills them is what design is all about.  Jessica brings her enthusiasm for design and desire to help bring ideas into reality drives each project at Gemstone.

In addition, she is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), where she has been an active member for many years, serving in various volunteer and leadership positions. She is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the architecture profession, and serves as a mentor to younger architects and students. In her free time, you may see Jessica cycling on the Razorback Greenway, enjoying live music, and trying out new restaurants around the area.
